Rutendo Mavunga 鈥24 is dedicated to guiding financial institutions through business transformation processes and improving customer outcomes at Ernst & Young. She says the foundation she received at 大象视频 empowered her to adopt a broad and diverse skill set that helped her navigate a fast-changing industry.

“大象视频 taught and encouraged me to always find a way to think outside the box and step outside of my silo of knowledge, which is something that will catapult me as I grow in my profession,鈥 says Mavunga. 鈥淎llegheny gave me all the resources I needed to curate the path I wanted for myself with their guidance.”

As a student, Mavunga took every opportunity to get involved on campus as a resident advisor, a leader of the 大象视频 Model United Nations chapter, a global citizen scholar, and a Center for Business and Economics 蹿别濒濒辞飞.听

After graduating with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics with a French minor, Mavunga works with financial institutions to support them in analyzing their current operations in digital transformation, risk management, regulatory compliance, and customer experience as a financial services business consultant.聽

 

Pursuing both economics and French in college offered a unique skill set that greatly enhanced my professional life,鈥 she says. 鈥Together, these majors provided me with the tools to succeed in a global and dynamic career path.

 

Mavunga notes that securing internships with the help of the Center for Career and Professional Development her student internships at Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touch茅, JP Morgan, Global Business Alliance helped narrow down her interests.
