Hello! My name is Ella DeRose and I am a senior studying political science, Spanish, and economics. I am from Grand Island, NY–Go Bills! I’m involved in many things on campus: I work at Pelletier Library, dance with Orchesis Dance Company, am a member of Delta Delta Delta, and am the current president of Allegheny Student Government! Some of my favorite hobbies include playing pickleball, yoga, and listening to music. I’m super interested in legal studies and language learning, so I’d love to chat about study abroad or pre-law opportunities! My favorite part of Weekend of Welcome is getting to meet all of the new students and forming friendships with everyone through fun activities. Can’t wait to meet you!

I work as a social media intern for the Office of Marketing and Communications, where I primarily create video content. In my free time, I hike, write, read, and bake. I enjoy photography and yoga as well! I am a big fan of all live music! I love to play my guitar and sing.

My name is Charlotte, and I am a junior from Houston, Texas. I am a history major with a double minor in theatre and political science. I am a sister in Kappa Alpha Theta, a member of the ultimate frisbee team, and I work in the costume shop on campus. I am also in the Allegheny Outing Club, where I lead trips off campus, and I am a board member for the Bird Club. I love sewing and reading and am very excited to kick off this year!

Hi! I’m Brooklyn Harrison, a sophomore at ´óÏóÊÓÆµ, majoring in international studies and minoring in French, in pursuit of law school. I am on the Allegheny Women’s Lacrosse Team on campus. I am also a part of Greek Life in the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. I am also a part of the Allegheny Student Government as a senator for the 2029 class. As well, I work in the student life office as the programming assistant on campus! For fun, I love to hang out with friends and go shopping!

Hello, my name is Em, and I am super excited to be an Orientation Leader for the Class of 2030! I am involved in various things on campus, including the Bonner Program, Alpha Delta Pi, Honor Committee, Rotaract Club, Knitting Club, Meditation Club, and volunteering at Grounds for Change. As for hobbies, I absolutely love birding during the warmer months. I spend a lot of time reading classical literature and historical fiction novels, as well as crocheting! Additionally, I aspire to be multilingual, and am currently learning Spanish and German. If I’m not working or practicing my other hobbies, you’ll probably find me watching Markiplier or listening to alternative music in my dorm. All in all, I can’t wait to meet all of the new Gators!

I am a Bonner Service Leader and I was on the Bonner Admissions and Recruitment Committee (BARC) this past spring. I serve as a member of the student-run Honor Committee.
