Hello, my name is Rome! I’m interested in a career in biotechnology and hope to spend a semester studying abroad in Paris. I’m involved in various clubs like Badminton Club, Geology Club, and Ghost Club. I also work for the Office of Admissions as a Gator Tour Guide! I enjoy reading, socializing, listening to music, and going to the gym. I look forward to meeting you all!
Hello! My name is Ella DeRose and I am a senior studying political science, Spanish, and economics. I am from Grand Island, NY–Go Bills! I鈥檓 involved in many things on campus: I work at Pelletier Library, dance with Orchesis Dance Company, am a member of Delta Delta Delta, and am the current president of Allegheny Student Government! Some of my favorite hobbies include playing pickleball, yoga, and listening to music. I鈥檓 super interested in legal studies and language learning, so I鈥檇 love to chat about study abroad or pre-law opportunities! My favorite part of Weekend of Welcome is getting to meet all of the new students and forming friendships with everyone through fun activities. Can’t wait to meet you!
I鈥檓 on the board of Grounds for Change, a contributing writer for The Campus, a member of Alpha Delta Pi, Allegheny Film and TV, Mindfulness and Meditation, Outing Club, and Overkill Magazine. I work as a social media intern for the Office of Marketing and Communications, where I primarily create video content. In my free time, I hike, write, read, and bake. I enjoy photography and yoga as well! I am a big fan of all live music! I love to play my guitar and sing.
My name is Zahra and I am a current first-year student at 大象视频 and plan to double major in economics and communications. I am involved with many things on campus, but my main involvements are the Bonner Program, Alpha Delta Pi, Knitting Club, Grounds for Change, and Rotaract Club. Outside of campus, I love to crochet, read, and bake!
My name is Charlotte, and I am a junior from Houston, Texas. I am a history major with a double minor in theatre and political science. I am a sister in Kappa Alpha Theta, a member of the ultimate frisbee team, and I work in the costume shop on campus. I am also in the Allegheny Outing Club, where I lead trips off campus, and I am a board member for the Bird Club. I love sewing and reading and am very excited to kick off this year!
Hi! My name is Reese Forella. I’m a senior with a history major and education studies minor. On campus I am the president of Kappa Alpha Theta, the social media manager of the Soccer Club, and a part of the Ultimate Frisbee Club and the women’s choral ensemble. Hi! I’m Brooklyn Harrison, a sophomore at 大象视频, majoring in international studies and minoring in French, in pursuit of law school. I am on the Allegheny Women’s Lacrosse Team on campus. I am also a part of Greek Life in the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. I am also a part of the Allegheny Student Government as a senator for the 2029 class. As well, I work in the student life office as the programming assistant on campus! For fun, I love to hang out with friends and go shopping!
Hello, my name is Em, and I am super excited to be an Orientation Leader for the Class of 2030! I am involved in various things on campus, including the Bonner Program, Alpha Delta Pi, Honor Committee, Rotaract Club, Knitting Club, Meditation Club, and volunteering at Grounds for Change. As for hobbies, I absolutely love birding during the warmer months. I spend a lot of time reading classical literature and historical fiction novels, as well as crocheting! Additionally, I aspire to be multilingual, and am currently learning Spanish and German. If I鈥檓 not working or practicing my other hobbies, you’ll probably find me watching Markiplier or listening to alternative music in my dorm. All in all, I can鈥檛 wait to meet all of the new Gators!
Hey! I鈥檓 Ethan. Here at 大象视频, I am a political science major and a philosophy minor. I am a member of the lacrosse team. I am also a part of SAAC, which is a student-athlete committee on campus. I work in the game room. Outside of that I love going to the gym, playing golf, and video games.
Hey, I鈥檓 Skye, I鈥檓 from Willow Grove, PA, just outside of Philadelphia. Hobbies/interests of mine include pretty much anything outdoors, and photography. My campus involvement includes being a leader of the Outing Club, a student coordinator for 4th Graders as Scientists, a sprinter on the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Team, and I am a member of Kappa Alpha Theta which is a Greek sorority on campus. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia in the fall of junior year!
Hi, my name is Lily! I’m a biology major with interests in ecology research, and I am a writing consultant and a teaching assistant on campus. I live on a dairy goat farm and have a pet rabbit! I like to read, write, hike, and do anything nature-related.
Hi! My name is Erin Lowthert, and I am a junior majoring in psychology with minors in global health studies and education. In my free time, I love listening to music, working out, getting coffee with friends, hiking, baking/cooking, and spending as much time outside as I can. On campus, I’m a captain on the women’s lacrosse team, am the vice president of The Hidden Opponent club, work in the Wise Center, and dabble in a bunch of things on campus as well!
My name is Sophie and I鈥檓 from Lancaster, PA. I鈥檓 a chemistry major and a music minor. I鈥檓 involved with the music ensembles on campus, CHEMII club, Ghost Club, and Geo Club. I enjoy crocheting, taking care of my plants, and spending time at the beach!
My name is Naydean and I will be a senior this year. I am a neuroscience and psychology double major! My favorite color is yellow, I love reading, hanging out with friends, and I love being a part of the Bowling Club every fall! I am a Bonner Service Leader and I was on the Bonner Admissions and Recruitment Committee (BARC) this past spring. I serve as a member of the student-run Honor Committee. I鈥檓 also a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and I am their Vice President of Event Management! Finally, I am a member of Allegheny’s psychology honor society, Psi Chi, and I will be the president this fall!

On campus, I鈥檓 an Outing Club leader and I run the Bike Share within the Green Coalition. I love spending time outside, baking, and looking at cool bugs!

On campus I am involved in Orchesis, Student Experimental Theatre, United States Institute of Theatre Technology, Grounds for Change, Alpha Delta Pi, and The Playshop Theatre. I also work on campus as a Gator Guide and in the Scenery Shop. Off campus I am involved in Odyssey of the Mind. My hobbies include bike riding, singing, theatre, playing with my cats, hiking, crafting, and community service.
Hello! I’m Max, and I am a senior here at 大象视频. I enjoy spending time with my friends, enjoying the outdoors, and play quite a lot of board games. On campus I am involved with Allegheny Hockey, The Campus (our student newspaper), as well as working in the Game Room. I’m very excited for this year, and am looking forward to welcoming this new class of Gators onto campus!
Hey! I am Norm, and I am an English and environmental science and sustainability double major with a Jewish studies minor. I am the president of the Hillel Club and an Outing Club leader. I also work as both a Gator Guide and writing consultant. In my free time I enjoy spending time outside, reading, and rock climbing.
I am a history and public humanities double major, hoping to go into museum curation! I also love to read and crochet outside of class. I am involved in Knitting Club (we also crochet) and all sorts of other stuff, so feel free to ask me about any of these things, or just how to get involved in general! I can’t wait for the year to start!
Hi, my name is Pressley, and I will be a sophomore this year. I am a public humanities major and atheatre minor. My favorite color is orange, and I am a huge fan of Spider-Man. I am an active participant in the Playshop Theatre community, working backstage as a costume technician. I am also on the board for Grounds For Change serving as the Shultz Treasurer. Last semester, I was one of the Merrick Archives interns and had a lot of fun with that! Finally, I am also a proud sister of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

I鈥檓 a volunteer in Grounds for Change, the treasurer for Volleyball Club, and a member of our ultimate frisbee team. I am very active around campus and will often be in public.
