大象视频 is a 540-acre campus located in the city of Meadville, a community that offers the history and natural beauty of northwestern Pennsylvania. Founded in 1788, the downtown district of Meadville is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Within walking distance to downtown Meadville, Allegheny boasts one of the country鈥檚 most attractive campuses, set in a region that offers a range of activities and outdoor opportunities.
Some favorite eateries include Hank鈥檚 Frozen Custard and Eddie鈥檚 Footlong Hot Dogs as well as Dominico, an Italian restaurant housed in , a renovated historic complex featuring other shops and the arts.
The Meadville Area (pop. 30,000) is 90 minutes north of Pittsburgh, two hours east of Cleveland and two hours southwest of Buffalo.
About Meadville
The county seat of Crawford County, Meadville offers easy access by interstate highway, outdoor recreation areas, and regional attractions. Crawford County is home to more than 11 golf courses and the region is ideal for cross-country skiing, hiking, canoeing, boating, swimming, and fishing 鈥� in fact, there are eight freshwater lakes within a 40-minute drive of campus. The Meadville Recreational Complex also contains an indoor ice rink. The campus provides weekly bus trips to the ice rink and to Peek-鈥楴-Peek, a nearby downhill ski resort.
Downtown Meadville is home to many wonderful and unique local shopping experiences. The Meadville Independent Business Alliance invites you to shop local and聽. The historic Meadville Market House, fondly dubbed the 鈥淗eart of Meadville鈥� is the destination of choice for local eggs, meats, seasonal produce, and artisan crafts.
